About the shop:
I'm not saying we are the best ski techs in town, but I'm also not NOT saying that... ;)
We set up shop similarly to a food truck and perform high quality while-you-wait service work for skis and boards.
Other shops can have a 2 week wait time during peak ski season, our goal is to have your work completed and finished at a higher quality in the time it takes to have a few drinks.
While-You-Drink:
Tired of waiting for your gear to get serviced while the new snow gets tracked out? We measure our wait time in beers, not weeks.
We try our hardest to have the best waxes and tunes. That is why we always finish with multiple passes of a hand wax, scrape, and brush. We use temperature specific wax for the local conditions of wherever you are heading, and can even customize your tune to how you like to ski or ride for no additional charge. We do things the old-school way and pay attention to the details.
Tune-Your-Own Clinics:
A true masterclass in DIY tuning from start to finish. Your skis/boards will leave the clinic with a higher quality tune than you'll get from most shops.
Want to save some money and learn how to fix your own stuff? Maybe you just need a little hands-on guidance for a specific job? We'd be happy to help. We can teach you how to use your own DIY kit or let you use ours. These events take place at one of the free community benches on Tuesdays through December and January. The clinics are a $20 suggested donation to fund supplies for the free community bench at the Handlebar.
Parties and Events:
Invite your friends! If you are hosting an event or house party, we can show up with the tools and supplies to teach everyone how to wax and sharpen. If you are looking for more of a hands-off experience, we can come over and work on everyone's gear while you do your thing. We can negotiate a flat rate or just charge the standard prices per job.
