Regular Service Work

outside of Boise. Regular rates apply.

All services include a base edge deburr and base material scrape if there is damage. This smooths out high-drag areas from nicks and gouges. We love doing custom tunes; Please feel free to tell us how/what you like to ride, and we'll tweak the tune to your preference.

$30 Hand Wax and Polish
Heat up bases, deburr base edge, apply temperature specific wax for current local conditions, scrape, brush, polish. If the ski or board is extra thirsty We do a hot scrape first, then a second wax while the ski or board is at a higher temperature. This is one of the highest quality waxes in the Treasure Valley and will last longer than a brush-on wax and ski better than an infrared treatment.

$40 New Prep
Makes brand new setups ride how they are supposed to. Deep pore hand wax (multiple rounds of waxing and scraping at temperature), brush, polish, check edges, detune tips and tails. Almost every brand new setup needs this. Skis/boards rarely come out of a factory ready to ride. Factory wax is for storing, not for skiing. Many skis/boards are returned or sold prematurely by people who skipped this step.

$50 Edge and Wax
Sharpen side edges, deburr base edges, customize detune (per request), hand finish wax, brush, and polish. $1 per minute additional for P-tex fills.

$120 The Whole Shebang
Fill all base gouges, weld core shots, 4 levels of hand sanding, planing, and polishing on bases (old school style, like how they did before base grinders), sharpen side edges, reset base edges, deburr and finish edges, customize detune to preference, hand wax, brush, and polish. This service takes anywhere from 2-4 hours to create a quality product by hand.

**Due to time constraints, please allow at least one day to pick up a "Whole-Shebang."

Ski/Board Surgery
$1 per minute, $25 minimum. This includes epoxy jobs, edge pull-outs, cutting skins, delamination repair, base welds, P-tex only jobs, etc.

**Wait times on ski/board surgery vary greatly depending on the job. Sometimes its an hour, sometimes its a few days depending on what needs done.

Timeframes for epoxy:
Any epoxy job requires a minimum of 2 additional hours in the shop to harden (no charge), and 24 hours next to your heater at home to finish curing. If it is a major repair, We may need to keep the skis or boards for a few days and do multiple epoxy passes.

Tune-Your-Own Clinics & Community Benches
Handlebar, New Colony
$20 during the clinics. The bench at The Handlebar stays up all season for FREE. You do not have to take a clinic to use the bench, but Après will not be held liable for any damage. All proceeds and donations go back into purchasing tools and supplies for the bench.

One-on-One Instruction
At Payette Brewing
$40 per hour for one-on-one instruction. You can bring your tools or use ours.

Private Events
Wherever you want.
$300 minimum. Great for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, ect. (Not recommended for funerals). These can be set up like a tuning clinic, or we can just tune everyone's skis/boards while you do your thing. We can negotiate a flat rate or charge our standard prices per job as long as there is around $300 worth of work. These are pretty flexible to meet your needs.
